Encryption in transit
All traffic between your browser and Denzif runs over HTTPS/TLS. Login uses secure JWT-based authentication.
Managed cloud infrastructure
Data lives in MongoDB Atlas with files on AWS S3 — managed platforms with their own physical and network security layers.
Daily automatic backups
Every paid plan includes daily backups. No USB drives, no “did anyone copy the register?” conversations.
Role-based access control
Admins, dentists, and receptionists each see only what their role requires. Permissions are enforced server-side.
Per-clinic data isolation
Every query is scoped to your clinic ID. Cross-clinic data access is structurally impossible in the application layer.
Official WhatsApp Business API
Patient messaging uses the official Meta WhatsApp Business API — not unofficial gateways that risk account bans.

Security questions, answered
Where is my clinic data stored?
Denzif stores clinic data on secure managed cloud infrastructure (MongoDB Atlas database and AWS S3 for files and images), with encrypted connections between your browser and our servers.
How often is my data backed up?
Daily automatic backups are included on every paid plan. Backups run without staff action, so a stolen laptop, failed hard drive, or office incident never means lost patient records.
Can other clinics see my patient data?
No. Denzif is multi-tenant with strict per-clinic data isolation — every record is scoped to your clinic, and queries can never return another clinic’s patients, appointments, or invoices.
How does Denzif control who accesses what?
Access is role-based. Clinic admins manage the full clinic; receptionists see a focused front-desk dashboard. Authentication uses secure JWT tokens, and admin areas are blocked from search engines and crawlers.
Is patient communication on WhatsApp secure?
Patient messages are sent through the official WhatsApp Business API, which uses WhatsApp’s transport encryption. Message delivery status is tracked per patient inside Denzif.
Is Denzif HIPAA certified?
Denzif does not currently claim HIPAA certification. It follows strong security practices — encryption, role-based access, data isolation, and daily backups — and clinics should follow their local health data regulations.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data remains yours. You can export patients, appointments, and billing records to Excel or PDF at any time, including before cancelling.
